Toyota's Tacoma 2RZ and RZ engines are capable of great power! Wiseco's K642 series piston gives you net 8.8:1 compression in the 2RZ and 8.25:1 compression in the 3RZ. We've designed it specifically for high boost applications.

You know the run-down of Wiseco's standard features and benefits. Well, these pistons have them all! It's made from a dedicated forging made in our Ohio forge shop for light weight and superior strength. We've designed it to give you maximum ring seal, compression, and control with a pressure seal groove and dedicated rings. Our ArmorGlide™ skirt coating reduces friction and wear. Brush deburred on the dome and valve beliefs to prevent detonation, Wiseco's Toyota Tacoma piston is the best choice for you.

It is offered in 95mm, 95.5mm, and 96mm bore sizes with a -10cc dome volume. All kits come complete with 1mm x 1.2mm x 2.8mm XX rings (stainless steel, gas nitride top ring; cast iron Napier hook second ring; and flex-vent oil ring with gas nitride scraper rails). All clips and pins are included as well to complete your engine quickly. Wiseco's kit for the Toyota Tacoma retails at $702.60. Give us a call or check out our website for more information.

  1. These pistons will be going into my 2.0L Porsche 914 aircooled motor with four 3.0L Porsche 911 95mm Nikasil aluminum cylinders. The compression hieght (3.4) and pin diameter (24mm) are identical to the stock 914 pistons. Are your pins offset and do I need to worry about that, as the stock pistons were not offset? 2. Correction, compression hieght is 1.4".

  3. 1.398 is the height of these and there are no valve pockets. I don't believe the original 914 piston had vp's, but I don't remember. Is the original a flat top or is more of a dish? Ours are -10cc. Keep me posted. Thanks, Brian Nutter

  4. The originals were flat top and needed to be shimmed when turbo charged to reduce compression. 10cc CP works even better! Thanks!

  5. I'm also interested to turbocharge an 914 engine, is this mod works? why not use the original cast cylinders? please pm me parts4porsche@yahoo.com.br

  6. The original cast iron cylinders came in 94mm, 96mm, and bigger. The 95mm Toyota 2rz/3rz cast pistons will work, but I like 2rz/3rz forged for the turbo application. I'm having some case work performed to add oil squirters to cool the back side of the forged pistons. With aluminum nikasil cylinders, it will run nice and cool. Chuck5

  7. Why we can not just machine the original cast iron cylinders 94mm to 95mm and hone them? also use the forged piston of 930 turbo 95mm flat top, it´s forged, it´s low compression. Did you try to fit the nikasil cylinders in ther type IV case? does it fit? How bout cooling system, are you gonna use 911 type fan? Tadashi parts4porsche@yahoo.com.br
