Congress Passes Lead Law Exemption for ATV's & Bikes

After years of hard work by Minnesota Senator Amy Klobuchar and so many others in our industry, Congress has finally passed the lead law exemption for kid-sized ATV's and dirt bikes! The bill now goes up to President Obama to approve. This is a huge win!

Visit Wiseco at the 30th Annual Loretta Lynn's Amateur National!

The peak of amateur racing is coming next week at the Loretta Lynn Amateur National Motocross Championships in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee. The event runs August 1-6 at country-star Loretta Lynn's ranch. Stop by the Wiseco booth in the vendor area. We will have our full-line of products on display. We will also have a selection of product and apparel for sale throughout the week.

This iconic race has been going strong for 30 years. Wiseco has proudly been involved with the event since the beginning and continues for the 2011 season. This race has brought up some of the most successful professional riders in the industry. It's always an exciting week! Congratulations to every rider who has won a spot in one of its 33 classes during regional qualifiers! Best of luck during the week!

Kids Just Want to Ride Act

CPSIA ban update! The Consumer Products Saftey Improvement Act will ban off-highway vehicles for kids at the end of 2011. It looks like there may be some momentum gaining on the issue! Let's hope we can get this lifted so kids can ride safely on motorcycles and ATVs. Visit the AMA's website to send a note to your congressman/woman. Check out the latest news at the link below.
